About Elizabeth Designs Limited
British interior designer, Elizabeth Warden started Elizabeth Designs Limited in 1989 having trained for three years with Olga Polizzi in the in-house design studio at Forte Plc.
One of the country's reputable national interior designers, the design experience is extensive, both as a hotel interior designer and as a city and country home interior designer.
International interior design projects have been successfully undertaken in Europe and the Caribbean. UK projects remain the focus – equally taking on hotel interior designer projects and London home interior designer projects.
A privateer, working from a studio at home keeps overheads contained and design fees competitive. Specialist skills are brought in from a pool of consultants, as and when required, to supplement the skills needed for a specific project.
Originally a hotel interior designer, designing hotels in the UK, USA and Caribbean, Elizabeth Warden expanded her work to include designing large London homes, from Eaton Square houses, apartments in Belgravia and Knightsbridge to designing family homes in the suburbs of Putney and Wimbledon.
Now, with extensive experience of designing important country homes across the country, including large manor houses in the Home Counties and central England, Elizabeth has a number of clients with smaller homes for which she provides a custom country home interior design service.
Interior design testimonials
We have worked with Liz now for around fifteen years now. I can honestly say that I know no one that would pull out the stops like she does to ensure that your project is executed to your complete satisfaction. She is hard working, diligent, caring, creative, completely professional and a pleasure to work with. The only negative that I can think of in recommending Elizabeth Designs Limited is that Liz will have less time to work with us!

Bond Bryan Architects collaborated with Elizabeth Designs for the design and delivery of the Edge Hotel School in Colchester. This challenging project involved the refurbishment of Wivenhoe House, which is a Grade 2*listed building. The project involved extending Wivenhoe House via a contemporary garden wing, which accommodated a Conference Suite, Brasserie and new bedrooms. Elizabeth Warden demonstrated her skill as an Interior Designer by providing elegant and timeless interiors in Wivenhoe House, whilst creating a contemporary cutting edge image within the new garden wing. Elizabeth carefully considered the function of each and every room before selecting the carpets, wall coverings, furniture and lighting. This created fantastic interiors that are robust and practical to use. Her classic interiors for the Fine Dining Restaurant are completely different to the vibrant interior of the Brasserie which in turn is completely different to the commercial look of the Conference Suite. Elizabeth’s ability to create stunningly different spaces within the Hotel greatly enhances the enjoyment of the facilities. Bond Bryan Architects and our Client are delighted with Elizabeth’s interiors at Edge Hotel School. We would strongly recommend her work.
